There is a wide range of emergencies<br />

course of day for the <strong>Village</strong>, and some<br />
events may have an immediate impact<br />
on citizens. In the event of an<br />
emergency, the <strong>Village</strong>’s homepage will<br />
be the central home of the Website for<br />
any emergency alerts. Any emergency<br />
alerts will be placed on top of the page<br />
so citizens can easily find essential<br />
information to ensure they can react<br />
quickly if required.<br />
In order to access this feature, simply<br />
follow these instructions:<br />
1. Visit the <strong>Village</strong>’s website at<br />

2. Click on Notify Me on the left side<br />

GRAVEL ROAD REHABILITATION PUBLIC MEETING<br />
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 7 P.M. AT CITY HALL<br />
<strong>Greenwood</strong> <strong>Village</strong> will host a public meeting for residents living<br />
in rural <strong>Greenwood</strong> <strong>Village</strong> on Tuesday, <strong>November</strong> 15 at 7 p.m. in<br />
the Community Room at City Hall to obtain public input<br />
regarding the planned gravel road rehabilitation project. <strong>Village</strong><br />
staff will be joined by District 1 City Councilmembers Dave<br />
Bullock and Freda Miklin to present desired roadway cross<br />
sections and alternative gravel materials for all gravel roads in<br />
the <strong>Village</strong>.<br />
The primary goals of the gravel road rehabilitation project are as<br />
follows:<br />
• Maintain rural characteristics of area.<br />
• Provide proper roadway section (width and geometry) for:<br />
safety; proper surface drainage condition; proper ditch line<br />
drainage condition; surface durability in wet/winter conditions; and reduced maintenance requirements and costs.<br />
• Provide surface adequate for equestrian usage.<br />
• Provide proper roadway material components for: surface durability in wet/winter conditions; dust mitigation; and reduced maintenance<br />
requirements and costs.<br />
