Ella Hammond and Alfie from the Woodland Pychley won PC 90 Section J<br />

using many of the Belvoir’s fence they<br />

also use at their popular JOE and Hunter<br />

Trial at Ropsley. This included a fun team<br />

competition, a forerunner of The Pony<br />

Club Landrover Regional Competitions<br />

that will include eventing as well as the<br />

current show jumping and dressage for<br />

2017.<br />

The Mega Meynells team won the PC80,<br />

with the Burton Hunt Hurricanes 2nd and<br />

the Burton Hunt Spitfires 3rd.<br />

It was fantastic to welcome so many<br />

competitors from right across the East<br />

Midlands to the Area Eventing. We had<br />

great support from so many people,<br />

including our hosts the Tollemache Family<br />

and the Buckminster Estate team; Kate<br />

and the Buckminster BE team including<br />

Jen Caley who led a very efficient scoring<br />

team, Guy and Philip Herbert for expert<br />

XC and ground care input, Beau Wood<br />

and our BS judges Sarah Whitford and<br />

Kevin Jackson, our sponsors and suppliers<br />

that we were able to put on a worthy<br />

championship for our members.<br />
