Riders from across the country are
heading to the SEIB Trailblazers
Championship held at Stoneleigh
Park in Warwickshire at the end of July.
Held over seven days, the championship
finals are the highlight of the year for
many competitors as it provides a unique
opportunity for grassroots riders to
experience a major championship.
The senior and junior Dodson & Horrell
Dressage Championships will be on 29
– 31 July, the Equestrivan Showing and
Working Hunter Championships on 30 –
31 July, the senior and junior Countrywide
Show Jumping Championships on 3 – 6
August and Solution Saddles Combined
Training Championships on 4 – 5 August.
The SEIB Trailblazers Championships is
an equestrian extravaganza with on-site
camping, stabling, flags and flowers. With
the superb facilities at Stoneleigh Park,
Warwickshire, finalists will enjoy that
unbeatable big championship atmosphere,
the thrill of riding in the grand arenas and
the prospect of completing a lap of honour
in magnificent style.
As well as the all-important championship
classes, the event also offers optional
dressage and show jumping warm up days,
giving competitors at the Championships

Last year’s Championships saw the
introduction of the Master Class in
the Park; this year it is supported by
Equestrivan with two talented top
international riders who are set to
wow the crowds with their informative
demonstrations. On Friday 29 July at 7pm,
one of the leading event and dressage
riders in the country Ruth Edge will be
hosting a dressage master class. Ruth
holds six national dressage titles, which
she has achieved alongside her eventing
successes. Winner of the Hickstead Derby
and top international rider Trevor Breen
will be sharing his techniques in his show
jumping master class, at 7pm on Thursday
4 August. The Master Class in the Park will
be free to watch for those onsite, so come
along, sit back and enjoy the opportunity
of watching Ruth and Trevor share their
knowledge with you.
Admission and parking is free for
supporters and spectators at the SEIB
Trailblazers Championships and spectators
are encouraged to come and support the
riders.
Many of the riders competing will have
overcome challenges either themselves
or with their horse or pony, and getting to
the championships is a huge achievement.
Riders are encouraged to enjoy the
experience and do their best.

will be competing at the championships
for the first time.
