LOCAL POTTERY ARTIST SHOW & SALE
Local Artists Draw You into Their World
Purple Sage Pottery Annual Fall Open House and Sale. This has
been a popular event for many years. There will be an abundance
of decorative and functional pottery and sculpture for sale made
by thirteen local clay artists.
Discover this humble art studio with kiln tucked just off route 110 in
downtown Merrimac where creations from multiple artists will be on
display for sale, each with distinct styles and personalities, perfect for daily use. Attending a Purple
Sage Pottery open house and sale is a wonderful and memorable experience.
It’s hard to decide whether most of the items on display are more art or more housewares. While
some pottery items serve only an ornamental function, most have elements of both. A few comments
Greg Der Bogosian
Town Common
from past visitors are: ‘’I will never again be satisfied by bringing out my old commercial dishes at
mealtime’’, and ‘’there is something special about a handmade creation
that carries extra life and personality with it.’’
There will be a kiln opening on Saturday morning, demonstrations throughout
the show and light refreshments. Perfect for children and all ages alike.
The studio is located at 3 Mechanic Street in Merrimac, MA and will be open
to the public from 10am to 5pm Saturday, November 12th, and from 12pm
