SALISBURY - For many, Thanksgiving is a day when families and
friends gather and give thanks over a special meal. However, for those
struggling to make ends meet, it can be an especially difficult time.
To help clients in the nine local communities it serves, Pettengill
House is now accepting community food drives and market gift
card donations to support our Annual Thanksgiving Meals Basket
Program which will be held on Friday, November 18th. In addition
to food drives of non-perishable items, we are kindly requesting
donors consider donating gift cards to local markets to assist us
with the purchase of perishable Thanksgiving meal “fixings”. The
following items are currently “most needed” for Thanksgiving meals
baskets: boxed stuffing, canned gravy, canned vegetables, canned
fruit, baking goods and condiments. Thanksgiving donations are
greatly appreciated and best if received by Monday Nov 14th.
Additional “most needed” items for our weekly food pantry include
children’s healthy lunch box snacks and toiletries/personal care
items. If you are interested in organizing a Thanksgiving food drive
for The Pettengill House, please contact Richard Henderson, Food
Pantry Program Coordinator, at Rhenderson@pettengillhouse.org
or call Richard at (978) 463-8801 ext. 1 for more information and
to schedule a drop-off time. We kindly request your assistance
checking “best by” dates, sorting items into boxes that one person
can lift, and bringing enough people to assist with unloading. As
always, monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Please make

SEACOAST ARTISANS presents the 17th Annual Holiday Fine
Arts & Craft Show. To be held at Great Bay Community College on
the Pease Trade Port. This year on Saturday November 12th! The
hours are 10 to 4. We have over 75 fine artists and craftsmen. Lunch
will be available Sponsored by Granite Bank as a Fundraiser for NH
Child and Family Services. Come start your holiday shopping.
We have something for everybody, male, female, young, old, pets!
Everyone will be enter into a cash Raffle just for entering the show.
