The work experience programme gives students the opportunity to have a full week of work, linked to out of
school learning. The programme helps the students to find the right place to fit with their future aspirations and
in doing so, raises awareness and skills for their working environment.
During the work placement, they will have the chance to:
Develop new skills
Increase confidence
Become more independent
Gain a sense of achievement
Gain confidence in networking and communication skills

FROG has a database with Company contacts but some of the best placements are found through friends and
family. So, start research and applying for placements, get confirmation, fill out the parent consent form and
hand it into reception for the attention of Mrs Leatherby.
