After a recent trip to
Kenwood House and
Gardens, DBUK member,
Mark, wrote to us to
express how much he
enjoyed the outing with the
Camden deafblind group.
Here’s what he told us:
“I am severely sight impaired
and wear two very powerful
hearing aids so I really
appreciate the DBUK Camden
group. I regularly attend the
group meetings to socialise and
enjoy the various activities we
can take part in.
I just thought I would drop you
a line to say how much I
enjoyed the Camden group's
outing at Kenwood House last
week.
The
delicious
cheese and
pickle
sandwich,
freshly
ground
coffee and
cone of
chocolate
The group enjoying
the sunshine
ice cream were all delightful
treats for me (yum!).
I enjoyed socialising in clean air
completely surrounded by trees
and the lovely herb garden on
the gorgeous warm sunny day.
We also had a short ride on the
buggy, feeling all the little
bumps and vibrations as we
headed back to the car park. It
was great! I really look
forward to going back there
again!"
