Have your Say and Shape the
Future of DBUK
We’re proud of our status as a
membership organisation and
the vital support we provide to
thousands of deafblind people
across the UK. We want to
make sure that we are
providing the right services to
you, our members, as well as
your families and your carers,
so we’re holding member
forums across the UK. You’re
invited to come along to one of
our member forums to share
your thoughts about our
services and the issues that
matter to you. These events
will help shape the future of
the services you receive from
us.
We held our first forum in
Peterborough. The event was
well attended - some had
travelled from as far away as
Tyne and Wear - and it was
enjoyed by all.
There was a range of round
table discussions on the
services we offer including
Open Hand, digital inclusion,
befriending and outreach
services. These discussions
focused on changes and
improvements that could be
made to the current service
provision.
