2007–08, the industries with the highest average<br />

annual growth rates in labour productivity were<br />

Communication services (6%), Agriculture,<br />

forestry and fishing (4%) and Wholesale trade<br />

(3%). Negative growth was seen in the Electricity,<br />

gas and water supply (3%) and Mining (1%)<br />

industries.<br />
