Life Has Returned Walking along the banks I spotted wildlife, a good sign that this once dying river has recovered and is now healthier. Fishes played around the surface of the water near the banks of the river, with some chasing after prey. There is a mangrove area where mangroves crabs gather to sunbath (I think). It is nice to see nature flourishing here. > Mangrove crabs lining up on log.
15 Historical Places There are lots of historical sites around such as the Ruin’s Of St Lawrence’s Chapel which was built in the 1700s by the Portuguese. Here to stands a bridge called Kampung Java (Jave Village) Bridge that has been nicknamed Ghost Bridge.
