Alvin Whitney has been working in sports television production<br />
for over twenty years. He has worked with Good Day NY, NBA<br />
Entertainment, CNN and Turner Sports. He is well known and respected<br />
as a producer and documentarian in the world of sports.<br />
With notable visibility in sports television, over the years, Alvin has<br />
also carved out a career outside of producing and has covered sports for<br />
the NBA, MLB, March Madness, NCAA Football and the Super Bowl.<br />
Alvin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has fond memories<br />
of growing up with his younger brother, Trey. He attended the well<br />
regarded preparatory school Cushing Academy, where he lettered in<br />
Alvin Whitney football and basketball.<br />
He attended Ithaca College, where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in<br />
Communications and he was an All-Conference basketball player.<br />
