Michael Albert<br />

Brooklyn, NY<br />

Michael Albert was born on June 23, 1999. He attended Trey<br />

Whitfield School in East New York since Pre-Kindergarten.<br />

From a very early age, he was taught the value of having a good<br />

education. Michael’s goals are to have his family believe in him and<br />

to continue with his endeavor to strive for success. He wants to excel<br />

in the areas of Language Arts, Science, and Math. It is important to<br />

do well in these fields because it will better prepare him in all aspects<br />

of life and for the future. At Trey Whitfield School, he was a member<br />

of the Concert Choir and he also maintained the sound system for<br />

the school. Aside from academics, he loves swimming and soccer. In<br />

September, he will attend Brooklyn Institute for Liberal Arts.<br />

Keyanna Wilson Blakely<br />

Ciera Burden<br />

Brooklyn, NY<br />

Keyanna Wilson-Blakely was raised in Queens, New York. She<br />

attended Trey Whitfield School and this past June graduated from<br />

Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School. From a very young age, she<br />

was taught to always lead and never follow. She was co-captain of the<br />

Junior Varsity girls’ basketball team and became captain of the Varsity<br />

team. Off the court, she exemplifies her leadership skills in school and<br />

in the community. She applies the same strategy of working hard to<br />

her studies. With a final grade point average of 91.6%, she achieved<br />

“first honors”. To help ensure the academic success of her team, she<br />

partnered with a Junior Varsity team member during study hall.<br />

Keyanna plans to major in computer and information systems and<br />

become an IT technician to improve computer systems. She wants<br />

to focus on safeguarding people from identity theft and computer<br />

hacking.<br />

C<br />

iera Burden was born on August 10, 1999, to Lisa Dozier-Annunziata<br />

and Lawrence Annunziata at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. She<br />

enjoyed being raised in the unique streets of Brooklyn, New York. She<br />

attended Trey Whitfield School for eight years where she graduated on<br />

June 21, <strong>2013</strong>, as Valedictorian. In September, she will follow in Trey’s<br />

footsteps and attend high school at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro,<br />

New Hampshire. In her spare time, she loves to sing and dance. She<br />

participated in a performing arts based program,” Aspire 2 Dance” for<br />

six years. Ciera is an active member in the Mount Sion Baptist Church,<br />

participating in the choir and the dance ministry. She also sang in the<br />

Trey Whitfield School’s concert choir and danced in the after school<br />

dance program. Ciera wants to attend Virginia State University and<br />

graduate with her bachelor’s degree. Her ultimate goals are to attend<br />

Harvard Law School and become a successful attorney.<br />
