Professional sleeper 

We all love our sleep and getting a few more 

winks in before the alarm goes off is a real 

challenge sometimes. But fear not, you can 

actually pack your pijamas in your briefcase 

and set off to work, safe in the knowledge that 

you’ll soon be back in bed and getting paid for 

it. Typically, professional sleepers participate in 

university studies on sleep or dreams, but 

others make sure beds are comfortable. 

Beer tasters 

For beer lovers, it truly doesn’t get any better 

than this. A Beer Sommelier is a qualification 

via the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. To 

pass you have to know a lot about beer. They 

help shape the brewing industry in a range of 

ways from inspiring people to drink beer to 

helping design new brews. Many breweries hire 

technologists to check the quality of their drink

White hat hackers are usually seen as hackers

Legoland Discovery Centres around the world 

promote the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef 

to the world. The winning candidate was 

chosen from a shortlist of 11. His qualifications 

were a good swimmer, excellent 

communicator, an adventurous attitude, enjoy 

snorkeling and/or diving and willing to try new 

things. Ben Southall won the job, to live on an 

island in the Great Barrier Reef for six months, 

whilst filming and blogging about all the fun he 

was having. Ben went onto become Global 

Tourism Ambassador at Tourism Queensland.

KINGS CHASE SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB 

Kings Chase Sports and Social Club was 

founded in 1936 and has been treasured 

by its members ever since. Members today 

can enjoy the peace and quiet of this 

hideaway in the centre of Brentwood. Just 

5 minutes walk from the High Street and 

Brentwood Rail Station. 

We are a private members club owned by 

the members and managed by a Committee 

of volunteer members. A home from home, 

our members are more like family to each 

other, with memberships dating over 35 

years. We are a family friendly environment 

and cater for all ages and tastes, new 

members and guests are always welcome. 

Our facilities; bowls, snooker, darts and our 

fully licensed bar are available to all 

members. Members can enjoy a variety of 

entertainment. These include Bingo, Quiz 

Nights and Karaoke. Also the Club can be 

used for charitable fund raising and local 

community events. 

New members are welcome to join Kings 

Chase, all you need to do is contact us with 

your details to join and enjoy Membership to 

the main club, for a year the cost is about 

£1 per week.
