We are now ISO 9001:2008 Certified
ISO Certificate being awarded by BVQI representative to KenTrade’s
management representative, David Ngarama. Looking on is CEO Amos

KenTrade Board of Directors
KenTrade has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Management
System Certificate. The certification awarded by the Bureau
Veritas Quality International (BVQI) on June 30, 2016 was
for the establishment, operationalization and management
of the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System
and Trade Facilitation. The ISO certification was as a result
of several months’ of hard work and a rigorous process of
documentation, reviews and audits.

Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and
establishing processes for continuous improvement are
important components of the ISO 9001:2008 certification
process and is aligned with the Agency’s core values of
excellence and efficiency in the customer service delivery.
The Government of Kenya places great emphasis on quality
service delivery and as a trade facilitation institution
aimed at providing efficient services to the citizenry. The
ISO Certification indeed is a testimony which reflects
our commitment to quality and our commitment to our
customers. The ISO 9001; 2008 Certification sends out
a message that all members of the KenTrade team are
committed to high quality customer service and delivery.
