A first look into the 31Thanwa brand and you’ll<br />
understand why every It-irl in Thailand is tong<br />
these luxury handbags. They scream high fashion<br />
but with a punch of rock and roll, reminiscent of<br />
brands like Balmain and Saint Laurent.<br />
The woman behind the designs is Boonyanuch<br />
ittayasamrit who hails from a line of artisans<br />
that began making leather shoes in 1952. She is a<br />
proud 3rd generation artisan that took her family’s<br />
attention to detail and used it for her edgy bag<br />
designs. Understand that her bags go through<br />
similar processes as an artisan would make a leather<br />
shoe. Everything is handmade, handstitched and<br />
hand glued to make sure that there is no thread out<br />
of place. Plus their fine quality leather are sourced<br />
from Thailand as well as Italy.<br />
Their signature bag is no doubt the Curios, a<br />
square tote with immaculate stitching and a zip on<br />
the front to unveil a patch of snake leather. The<br />
variety of colours make it easy to match with any<br />
outfit thanks to colours like black, grey, khaki and<br />
