EDITOR’s note<br />
This issue I trekked through a 130 millionyear-old<br />
rainforest to get a picture of a<br />
waterfall. Yes, it was spectacular, surreal and<br />
otherworldly but I still am not a fan of hiking. My<br />
mantra in the forest during the whole trek up was<br />
‘I love my job’. It is obvious that I am a beach girl by<br />
heart. At least I got a good article out of it which you<br />
can read on page 21 titled The Untouched Backyard<br />
of Perak.<br />
Couples still searching for a location to get<br />
married should read our Bucket List article (page<br />
26) for some ideas. I have yet to be invited to a<br />
destination wedding. Maybe it’s because as a Malay,<br />
you can’t squeeze 2000 relatives on a secluded<br />
beach off the coast of Thailand. But hey, a girl can<br />
dream.<br />
Since it’s the month of love, don’t forget to<br />
spread it around. Not just to your significant other<br />
but to everyone that has made an impact in your life.<br />
For me, it’s my cat Bizet.<br />
