Calisthenics
To develop the skills of debate, GDS is organizing and
arranging debating workshop cum classes and events
throughout the year. The programs are planned and
implemented by GDS members along with their spirited team.
The debaters who accelerated the entire debating program this
year are Aonkon Dey, Shubham Barua, Rivu
Bhattacharjee, Justin D Costa, Upajna Das, Nahian
Nabiha, Abidur Rahman, Joyeta Saha, Touhid Bin Abrar
and others.
GDS had many achievements.

Accomplishments
1. Out of 2 teams, the one with Aonkon Dey, Rivu
Bhattacharjee and Sheikh Muhtasim strode their way
up to the novice semi-finals ranking 4th best novice
team
2. With 2 teams sent to this regional level debate, the team
with all first timers surpassed all expection by winning
3 rounds while the other team was one point away from
novice-breaking
3. All 3 teams qualified for the quarter finals
4. One team secured the first open break.
5. 2nd best novice team went up to novice semi finals
6. Only novice team of the entire tournament to break
with the open teams and reach open quarters
7. Wins the Novice championship at the Independent
University Bangladesh Ascension
8. GH ranked as No.1 novice team out of 60 teams
