My dear readers,
The theme of this year's Yearbook is 'Mercy'. When I picked up the pen to write a few
words to you, the famous lines of the bard came to my mind, written centuries ago, yet
so relevant today.
When we consider ourselves individually, we are members of our families. On a wider
perspective we belong to institutions, communities and are citizens of our country. What
do we expect from our fellow citizens? Compassion, love, understanding, forgiveness
and mercy. Since time immemorial, the sages have spoken about these qualities. At GH,
we give importance to humane qualities along with academic excellence.
Dear readers, the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense
of well-being. Let us learn to forgive and be merciful. Only then can we claim to be the
best creation of God.
Let us join hands and show mercy. Together we can make this world a beautiful place for
ourselves and our descendants.
