United European Gastroenterology Federation (UEGF)
The United European Gastroenterology Federation (UEGF) is a professional
medical non-profit organisation comprising all of the major European societies
with an interest in disease of the digestive system, including the
oesophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, intestine and bowel.
The European societies that make up the Federation include medicine,
surgery, paediatrics and endoscopy. UEGF is the most comprehensive
organisation of this kind in the world and the affiliated societies represent
over 22,000 European specialists.

World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO)
WGO is a federation of over 100 national and regional gastroenterology
societies, representing over 50,000 gastroenterologists. Its mission is to
promote, to the general public and healthcare professionals, an awareness
of the worldwide prevalence and optimal care of digestive disorders
through the provision of high quality, accessible and independent
education and training.
WGO educational initiatives include international Training Centers,
Train-the-Trainer programmes, World Digestive Health Day and a Global
Guidelines Library.

World Organisation of Digestive Endoscopy (OMED)
The World Organisation of Digestive Endoscopy (Organisation Mondiale
d’Endoscopie Digestive), OMED, is a non-profit world federation of
national digestive endoscopy societies. Member societies are affiliated
to and represented by three geographical zones: Asian-Pacific (APSDE),
European/ Mediterranean (ESGE) and Inter-American (SIED). Societies
falling outside these zones are independent members.
Through the support of the geographic zones, member societies and
industry partners, OMED’s mission is the worldwide promotion of the
study and advancement of digestive endoscopy.

British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG)
The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) exists to maintain and
promote high standards of patient care in gastroenterology and to enhance
the capacity of its members to discover and apply new knowledge
to benefit patients with digestive disorders.
Founded in 1937, the BSG has over three thousand members drawn
from the ranks of physicians, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, scientists,
nurses, dietitians, and others.
