Free glaucoma test for Pigotts Primary students<br />
It was a full day for the<br />
Pigotts Primary school, the<br />
Lions International Group<br />
hosted their Annual Glaucoma<br />
fair where they visit several<br />
school around the island<br />
offering free glaucoma test<br />
to the students.<br />
Today they gave a short<br />
presentation to the school<br />
explaining what is glaucoma<br />
and the importance of getting<br />
tested at an early age,<br />
then they administer free eye<br />
tests to grade 1 and grade 4.<br />
The Pigotts Primary also<br />
had their 6th annual community<br />
group outreach, where<br />
they gave out food packages<br />
to the elderly.<br />
The schools collects one<br />
food item from each student<br />
and donations from the local<br />
business in the area. These<br />
items varies from vegetables,<br />
canned goods, rice, oatmeal,<br />
milk juices etc.<br />
Then the grade six students<br />
along with several<br />
teachers go out into the<br />
