Free Microchipping For Dogs
The law’s changing - from April 2016, all dogs in
England, Wales and Scotland must be microchipped.
It’s already compulsory in Northern Ireland. While this
normally costs £15-£20 at a local vets, you can get
it done for free (please donate if you can) when you
book an appointment with the charity Dogs Trust.
Microchipping your dog (a tiny implant about the size
of a grain of rice) stores your details as its owner on
an electronic database, which makes it much easier to
reunite you with your pooch should he/she ever get
lost. As long as they’re at least eight weeks old, you
can have dogs of any breed or size microchipped. If
there’s no Dogs Trust centre near you, or if you can’t
get an appointment, see ChipMyDog.org for free
microchipping events happening all over the UK.

Marley is a really great wee
girl who is lovely and sweet
natured. She needs a quiet
home with a garden and no
other pets or children.
Aileen - 5 yr old female
short hair domestic cat
Aileen came into the
centre as a wee stray. She is a nice wee friendly
cat so could maybe live with children in her new
home. It is unknown whether Aileen would like
to live with other cats or dogs. Her new home
would need access to a garden so she could get
out and explore.

This wee chap loves his food. He eats
both bugs and salad well and loves the
occasional treat of a wax worm or two.
Axl Rose is great to handle and loves to
explore. He would be ideal for someone looking to take on their first
bearded dragon.
Ross - a 1-2 yr old male Ferret
Ross is a nice boy who loves nothing more than
curling up and snoozing. With daily handling,
Ross will make the sweetest little pet.

Polly - Border Collie
Cross - 2-5yrs old.
Polly can live with children
who are 16 years old or
over and would love to have someone
about for most of the day to help her with
her training. She needs her own secure
garden and needs to be the only dog in
the home. She needs a calm, quiet home
with someone who has previous collie experience to help her settle.
Polly needs to be kept on lead.
Darcy - 8+ yr old Crossbreed.
Darcy can live with children who are 16
years old or over and needs his own secure
garden to play in. Someone who is willing
to give him the time and space he needs to
settle in would benefit him. Darcy needs to
be the only dog in the home.
