In June 2012, the lions and tigers at
Åalborg Zoo were given a big new
enclosure. So that now all the visitors
get a great view of the big cats in their
territory, in collaboration with the zoo
management SIK-Holz® has designed and
built impressive jungle huts on stilts. The
new installation includes three covered
observation platforms that are connected
with each other high up and easily
accessible by means of stairs. The complex
also includes a large walk-through house
from where visitors can see the animals.
