registeredaddress. AmemberwhohasnoregisteredaddressinHongKongshallbedeemed<br />
tohavereceivedanynoticewhichshallhavebeendisplayedatthetransferofficeandshall<br />
haveremainedthereforaperiodof24hoursandsuchnoticeshallbedeemedtohavebeen<br />
receivedbysuchmemberonthedayfollowingthatonwhichitshallhavebeenfirstso<br />
displayed, providedthat, withoutprejudicetotheotherprovisionsoftheseArticles, nothing<br />
inthisArticleshallbeconstruedasprohibitingtheCompanyfromsending, orentitlingthe<br />
Companynottosend, noticesorotherdocumentsoftheCompanytoanymemberwhose<br />
registeredaddressisoutsideHongKong.<br />
28.5 Anynoticeordocumentsentbypostshallbedeemedtohavebeenservedontheday<br />
followingthatonwhichitisputintoapostofficesituatedwithinHongKongandinproving<br />
suchserviceitshallbesufficienttoprovethattheenvelopeorwrappercontainingthenotice<br />
ordocumentwasproperlyprepaid, addressedandputintosuchpostofficeandacertificate<br />
inwritingsignedbytheSecretaryorotherpersonappointedbytheBoardthattheenvelope<br />
orwrappercontainingthenoticeordocumentwassoaddressedandputintosuchpostoffice<br />
shallbeconclusiveevidencethereof.<br />
28.6 Anynoticeorotherdocumentdeliveredorleftataregisteredaddressotherwisethanbypost<br />
shallbedeemedtohavebeenservedordeliveredonthedayitwassodeliveredorleft.<br />
28.7 Anynoticeservedbyadvertisementshallbedeemedtohavebeenservedonthedayofissue<br />
oftheofficialpublicationand/ornewspaper(s) inwhichtheadvertisementispublished (oron<br />
thelastdayofissueifthepublicationand/ornewspaper(s) arepublishedondifferentdates).<br />
28.8 Anynoticegivenbyelectronicmeansasprovidedhereinshallbedeemedtohavebeen<br />
servedanddeliveredonthedayfollowingthatonwhichitissuccessfullytransmittedorat<br />
suchlatertimeasmaybeprescribedbytheListingRulesoranyapplicablelawsor<br />
regulations.<br />
28.9 AnoticemaybegivenbytheCompanytothepersonorpersonsentitledtoasharein<br />
consequenceofthedeath, mentaldisorderorbankruptcyofamemberbysendingitthrough<br />
thepostinaprepaidletteraddressedtohimorthembyname, orbythetitleofrepresentative<br />
ofthedeceased, ortrusteeofthebankrupt, orbyanylikedescription, attheaddress, ifany,<br />
withinHongKongsuppliedforthepurposebythepersonclaimingtobesoentitled, or (until<br />
suchanaddresshasbeensosupplied) bygivingthenoticeinanymannerinwhichthesame<br />
mighthavebeengivenifthedeath, mentaldisorderorbankruptcyhadnotoccurred.<br />
