OBITUARY<br />
SSgt. Vincent B. Morrison<br />
1942-<strong>2017</strong><br />
Vincent B. Morrison,<br />
74, passed away on January<br />
20, <strong>2017</strong>. He was a Force<br />
Recon Marine who served<br />
two tours in the Vietnam War<br />
and fought in Hue during the<br />
TET offensive. Vincent was<br />
awarded a Bronze star and<br />
two Purple Hearts.<br />
Vincent started in the<br />
fastener industry in 1969<br />
with Blake and Johnson<br />
Company.<br />
He then represented<br />
Southern Screw Company<br />
and relocated from Wisconsin<br />
to Chicago in 1971. He was<br />
then transferred to Syracuse,<br />
NY in 1976 still working for<br />
Southern Screw company<br />
until they closed. Vincent<br />
opened his own company,<br />
Veterans Fastener Supply<br />
Corp. in 1987, and ran the<br />
business until his passing.<br />
The business is now owned<br />
and operated by his wife<br />
Barbara J. Morrison.
