On June 14, 1972, Doug Berry founded Advance<br />
Components as he transitioned from being a product<br />
representative to a new role as a master-stocking distributor.<br />
With the acquisition of a warehouse in Dallas, Berry was one<br />
of the first distributors to carry the Tinnerman Product line in<br />
the Southwest. Advance continues to be a master-stocking<br />
distributor for Tinnerman (now ARaymond Tinnerman), AVK<br />

Products, Heyco, Davies Moldings, Micro Plastics,<br />
Johnson & Hoffman, A1 Duplex Screw and other<br />
quality lines. Doug’s two daughters -- Suzy Cravens<br />
and Pam Berry -- are now co-owners of the company,<br />
and work with the entire Advance team to provide<br />
exceptional products and services for distributors.<br />
The company mission remains centered on our<br />
partners’ success, and our continued commitment<br />
to innovative solutions for distributors in the<br />
fastener industry. As Advance’s customer base has<br />
expanded during its 45-year history, the company<br />
