We slowly travel through the park to check in at the<br />
lodge, passing elephants, buffaloes and Kobs.<br />
In the morning we head straight out on our mission,<br />
to track lions with the Uganda Carnivore Program,<br />
track them through GPS and drive straight up to<br />
them.<br />
Well :straight” is a relative term in the bush, it is an<br />
adventures of its own to get to where the Lions are,<br />
even when you know where to look.<br />
After the days journey it is nice to have a cool<br />
shower and head way for sundowner in the park and<br />
dinner in the bush, while the sun sets behind the<br />
lake, this is life at its best!<br />
But failure is not an option, and we find our first<br />
lions, two males still resting after last night’s hunt,<br />
warming up in the morning sun.<br />
We also find the leftovers covered with vultures. On<br />
our way back, heading for breakfast, there she is, a<br />
leopard! A park that just keeps on giving…<br />
