5 th PROPERTY INDUSTRY BALL IN PARK HYATT<br />
On 4th November the Zurich property sector is meeting up on the<br />
dance floor for the 5th time in succession for a good cause. This<br />
year the event location is again the renowned Park Hyatt Hotel.<br />
The thrilling ball night has become an integral part of the autumn<br />
gala season in Zurich. Contacts are made and everyone<br />
can dance to their heart’s content. The main objective, however,<br />
is to raise donations for a child aid project in India. There is great<br />
anticipation about this year’s ball in particular. Tickets are now<br />
available.<br />
The kidz planet association, founded in 2010, supports children<br />
and adolescents in the area of education to give them a chance<br />
to take care of themselves and to attain a decent standard of<br />
living for themselves and their families. Over 160 children have<br />
been provided with regular school tuition since the construction<br />
of a primary school near Calcutta in 2010.<br />
Thomas Denzler is the patron of the charity event, which has been<br />
hosted successfully for 4 years. He travels regularly to India and<br />
personally ensures that the donations are used to help. He knows<br />
the name of every pupil in the primary school and has been following<br />
the progress of the aid project since its foundation.<br />
In addition to the charity projects, Thomas Denzler is the owner<br />
of the Zurich property companies Züri Immo AG and Eicher Generalunternehmung<br />
AG.<br />
Additional funds are accumulated from an auction, conducted<br />
by Berthold Müller (Christie’s Switzerland), of pictures painted by<br />
pupils from the kidz planet school. Past experience shows that<br />
the bids come flooding in and those, who are successful, can take<br />
the children’s colourful pictures home with them. Every year a<br />
picture from a Swiss artist is also up for bidding. Last year a sculpture<br />
from H.R. Giger was auctioned to raise a substantial sum.
