For this event, many craft beers from some of the finest local breweries will be available to sample. The Tasting Package ticket is just $20 and includes entry to the festival, a souvenir tasting glass and 10 tasting tickets. Tasting Package tickets can be purchased at the gate the day of the event or they can be purchased in advance at these fine locations: The Village of Manhattan, 260 Market Place in Manhattan; Berkot’s Super Foods in Manhattan on 100 Market Place and Berkot’s Super Foods in New Lenox on 2141 Calistoga Dr. Since craft beers aren’t for everyone, a reduced general admission ticket is also available that will provide access to domestic mainstream beers. The general admission ticket can be purchased at the gate the day of the event for just $5. The festival will also offer its patrons food from local restaurants such as Roadhouse 52, the Manhattan Firehouse Grill, Parmesan’s Wood Stone Pizza, and Candy and Corn. This year is sure to guarantee top notch entertainment. Bruce Stone and Friends will kick off the fest at 6 p.m. with an eclectic mix of classic rock and original compositions with an acoustic spin covering artists from Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd and little of everything in between. They are sure to be a crowd favorite! At 7:30 p.m. the band ANTHEM provides a musical experience that goes above and beyond the typical classic rock band, covering all-time favorites like Styx, REO, Journey, Boston, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Queen, Boston, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Foreigner, Alice in Chains, Eagles, Neon Trees, Neil Diamond, Sublime, John Mellencamp and more! The best part of this festival is that the profits from Manhattan on Tap are given back to the non-profit community groups that helped organize the event. Those groups are: Village of Manhattan, Illinois Celtics Baseball, Manhattan Lion’s Club, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Fire Protection District Union, Manhattan Historical Society, Manhattan Patriots Football/Cheer, Manhattan Township Food Pantry, Manhattan Woman’s Club and Operation Care Package.
