The Mambo Pambo Masika Collection features cold
season apparel made from heavy cotton jersey with
assorted wax print trims. Pieces in the collection
include Waterfall Cardigans, Kimonos also known as
Dusters, Ponchos, and Wrap Dresses for both adults
and children.
The jersey is heavy to ward off the cold and the
assorted wax print trims give the solid colored jersey
a splash of color while adding visual interest. Mambo
Pambo (MP) makes a limited number of garments
per trim to ensure each client’s garment is uniquely
theirs.
Mambo Pambo is a Fashion Design Studio that offers
afro-contemporary clothes, designed and made in
Kenya. The team at Mambo Pambo works on the
ethos that clothes made in Kenya for Kenyans can
be modern, impeccably tailored and made to last.
The Creative Director at Mambo Pambo, Kawira
Mirero believes style transcends age and body size.
She designs clothes that flatter all body shapes
and sizes. She draws inspiration from her client’s
lifestyles, environment, and unique personalities.
Mambo Pambo is based along Mbaazi Avenue, in
Kilimani. The Studio offers ready-to-wear apparel,
made-to-measure and styling services.
