Chestnut class have been doing lots to improve the
outside learning area. But there’s a lot still to do and
we need a little help.
Could you put our new bike shed together?
Could you help us dig over the flower area?
Could you make us a bike track?
Are you any good with DIY?
Would you be able to make us:
•Some road signs
•Some chalk board easels
•A weaving board
•A water wall and/or concrete river channel
Do you have any of the following things you would

•Dinosaurs, animals, cars/ trucks for sand (large so
they won’t get lost outside) (or small we could use
inside)
•Xylophone, hand bells
•Child sized wheelbarrow/ shopping trolley, skittles
•Off cuts of wood, pipe and guttering, a water pump,
mirrors (with safety glass), large plant pots, plastic
trugs, child watering cans, plain large picture frames
•Shells, cutlery, tiles, corks, taps, baking trays,
baskets, small saucepans/ frying pans, wooden
spoons, ladles, whisks, spatulas etc
•Plain plastic buckets, funnels, jugs, bowls, sieves,
flexible plastic piping
•Bean bags or mats with letters or numbers on
•Bamboo, garden canes, large pine cones, logs, child
sized brooms/ mops, large sponges, chalk boards
•Wheels, tyres, traffic cones, steering wheels, handle bars
Any time, skills or donations would be a great help.
