organised a Charity Fun<br />
Ride and Have A Go At<br />
TREC Day on 6 May at Wellow<br />
<strong>Equestrian</strong> Centre, near Ollerton<br />
In Nottinghamshire.<br />
Part of the British Horse Society’s<br />
Ride Out UK Month, 30 riders<br />
enjoyed several off-road routes<br />
around the farm ride. Many also<br />
took the optional route to the Red<br />
Lion pub in Wellow village for<br />
refreshments.<br />
In the outdoor arena riders<br />
had fun attempting a course of<br />
TREC obstacles with advice from<br />
experienced TREC judges to help<br />
them. Top Spec feeds were also<br />
on hand with their weighbridge<br />
and nutritional advice.<br />
IndiePics Photography took some<br />
gorgeous pictures out on the farm<br />
ride as well as donating a prize<br />
for the fundraising raffle kindly<br />
supported by <strong>Equestrian</strong> <strong>Life</strong>,<br />
Newton Cross Country Course<br />
and Top Spec. Thanks to the<br />
generosity of the Fowles family<br />
and the team at Wellow over £400<br />
was raised, to be shared between<br />
local charity Help for Horses and<br />
the BHS Paths for Communities<br />
Fund.<br />
