When the new company came into being, a factory was needed to create the<br />
new car. The Goodwood facility in the 42-acre grounds of the Earl of March’s<br />
famous Goodwood Estate, which has its own motor racing heritage, was ideal.<br />
It’s hard to believe that a centre of engineering and technical excellence exists<br />
in such peaceful surroundings, the factory blending effortlessly with the natural<br />
surroundings, which include landscaped gardens and a causeway spanning a<br />
peaceful lake.<br />
The roof lines have been kept low allowing the facility to blend in with its surroundings.<br />
