Sendoff for the ancestral spirits is
completed with utmost sincerity.
(26)Resuming positions
After the Master of Ceremony calls
“fù wèi” (“Resume positions”), all ceremonial
attendants then repeat the
call. The Lead and Second Ceremonial
Attendants lead the Principal to
return to his position while calling
“qǐng zhǔ jì guān fù wèi” (“May the
Principal return to his position”). The
team responsible for the Sendoff for
the ancestral spirits will enter as east
