means that the Committee needs to use a little bit of discretion
on what they give for. It doesn‘t mean you have to give a
thousand dollars. Even though, if you put a maximum of a
thousand dollars, everybody‘s going to apply for a thousand.
Doesn‘t mean you‘re going to have to give a thousand. I mean,
the Committee can give two hundred and fifty, or a hundred and
fifty, or five hundred, you know, and we have in the past done
that if I recall correctly.

this last year. Five hundred dollars wasn‘t enough to make an
impact in a lot of projects. And we had this same discussion
last year and passed it. It doesn‘t have to be a grant of a
thousand dollars. It can be a grant of a thousand dollars if
it‘s warranted. we‘re, this year we didn‘t have any
restoration projects or, or we had one restoration project
coming into I think it‘s May. And all, all the sudden a splurge
of new monuments came forward. maybe they‘re, maybe that‘s a
different funding situation that we need to address. But right
now, five hundred dollars doesn‘t make a big impact. It hardly
makes any impact, you know. it‘s seven or eight years at, at
five hundred dollars. How much has inflation gone up in that
time? it‘s something to consider. They still have the option
of reducing it to five hundred, but I would recommend that we
keep the wording the way it is. Thank you.
