Humbly I stand before you accepting the position of
Commander-in-Chief. Eagerly anticipating the challenges in our
Order. I will conduct the business of this Order with honor,
dignity, and will be cognizant always that we are here to honor
the Boys in Blue and by the grace of God, we will be successful.

First, I would like to thank Past Commander-in-Chief
Kennedy for his friendship, his advice, and his counsel. The
path that he has led the Order over the past year was the right
one and we are going, assure him that we will continue to blaze
that same trail. To the Department of Kansas, my home, my
