Fashion Dynamics and Illustration (Practical)
Course Code: MCT154 L-0, P-2 C-1
Objectives: To understand the creation of design by sketching and rendering croquet in different poses. To
impart knowledge of sketching of different garments and accessories.
Course Contents:
1. Focus on details of design, creation of style and rendering techniques using different Medias.
2. Sketching of different action croquet (Front, back, and side view)
3. Sketching of different garment : suit , skirt , blouse , trouser , coat / jacket , necklines , collars , sleeves details
, opening , yokes , hemlines.
4. Sketching of accessories (Hats and Head gears, Footwear, Bags and purses, Jewellery).
5. Drawing of Pattern and texture – Checks, gingham, plaids
6. Drawing of a line of following garments based on theme and fabric selected based on
�Casual Wear �Sports Wear �Bridal Wear �Evening Wear (Party wear)
�Executives (Business wear) �Night Wear �Beach Wear

External examiner appointed by university shall conduct the practical along with internal faculty and shall
assess out of 50 marks. The student would be required to complete an experiment during the practical
examination and write the detail process, findings/ results and conclusions in the examination evaluation copy.
