Objective: The basic objective of this course is to develop the personality and confidence of <strong>in</strong>dividual.<br />
1. Speak<strong>in</strong>g along with structures used <strong>in</strong> modern English<br />
Objective & Methodology: Use of different grammatical structures like the use of modals, Use of<br />
connectors etc. <strong>in</strong> speak<strong>in</strong>g, Speak<strong>in</strong>g on a particular structure at a time on the basis of <strong>ac</strong>tivities made.<br />
2. Speak<strong>in</strong>g along with quizzes with emphasis on k<strong>in</strong>esics<br />
Objective & Methodology: Conduct<strong>in</strong>g quizzes on different aspects of communication to make them aware<br />
of different parameters of communication and check<strong>in</strong>g their body language.<br />
3. Role plays based on different situations with stress, <strong>in</strong>tonation and rhythm<br />
Objective & Methodology: Knowledge of Stress, <strong>in</strong>tonation and rhythm and their sound application make<br />
communication sweet. Conduct of role plays on bus<strong>in</strong>ess and general issues to check the sweetness and<br />
<strong>in</strong>tensity of communication.<br />
4. Group Discussion, its po<strong>in</strong>ters, preparation<br />
Objective & Methodology: Conduct of GD on different issues, putt<strong>in</strong>g them <strong>in</strong> stressful situations, check<strong>in</strong>g<br />
their over aggression, Work<strong>in</strong>g on body language.<br />
5. Know Your Self (SWOT)<br />
Objective & Methodology: To know their <strong>in</strong>terests and cousel them <strong>ac</strong>cord<strong>in</strong>gly. Mak<strong>in</strong>g their outlook<br />
professional by organiz<strong>in</strong>g <strong>ac</strong>tivities like psychological tests (e.g <strong>in</strong>k test), tests on different bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />
situations.<br />
6. Basics of Interview skills with emphasis on candidates preparation<br />
Objective & Methodology: Discussion over the general questions <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>terview, How to keep cool <strong>in</strong><br />
complex situations, Work<strong>in</strong>g on ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g positive attitude, posture, handshak<strong>in</strong>g etc.<br />
7. Self Groom<strong>in</strong>g: - “First Impression is the Last Impression”<br />
Objective & Methodology: Tell<strong>in</strong>g them about dress sense, primp<strong>in</strong>g, ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g parts of the body,<br />
cosmetic care of the body etc.<br />
