GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

• The Committee will be chaired by the <strong>Airport</strong> Manager, <strong>Moorabbin</strong> <strong>Airport</strong><br />

Corpor<strong>at</strong>ion. A facilit<strong>at</strong>or may be employed to ensure a balanced appraisal of all<br />

viewpoints.<br />

• Secretari<strong>at</strong> services will be provided by <strong>Moorabbin</strong> <strong>Airport</strong> Corpor<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />

• Meetings are not open to the public.<br />

THE TIMETABLE<br />

Meeting One: Friday 19 th November. Educ<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />

The intent of this meeting is to provide a comprehensive description of current circuit<br />

training oper<strong>at</strong>ions <strong>at</strong> <strong>Moorabbin</strong>. This will include an invit<strong>at</strong>ion to all participants to conduct<br />

an actual circuit training flight in an aircraft typically used <strong>at</strong> <strong>Moorabbin</strong>.(*) In addition a visit<br />

to the Airservices Australia Tower will be arranged to understand the responsibilities and<br />

requirement of the controllers.<br />

This first meeting will take place during the caretaker management period for the Victorian<br />

St<strong>at</strong>e Government. However it is emphasized th<strong>at</strong> no policy will be discussed <strong>at</strong> this<br />

meeting‐ it is purely to educ<strong>at</strong>e those taking part.<br />

(*)In case of adverse we<strong>at</strong>her the nearest suitable d<strong>at</strong>e to this d<strong>at</strong>e will be used for the flying<br />

element of this procedure.<br />

Meeting Two: Tuesday 14 th December. Discussion.<br />

• St<strong>at</strong>ements of interest and desired outcome from particip<strong>at</strong>ing organiz<strong>at</strong>ions.<br />

• Examin<strong>at</strong>ion of possible outcomes.<br />

• Assessment of Requirements for further research or inform<strong>at</strong>ion for each<br />

participant.<br />

Meeting Three: Thursday 17 th March 2011. Report Back.<br />

• Consider<strong>at</strong>ion of Possible measures and safety, oper<strong>at</strong>ional and economic impacts<br />

associ<strong>at</strong>ed with these measures.<br />

• Additional meetings may be scheduled beyond this point should circumstances<br />

require further consider<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Meeting Four: Friday 6 th May 2011.<br />

• Formalis<strong>at</strong>ion of findings and prepar<strong>at</strong>ion of report to Minister.<br />
