The John Fisher Charity Bake Off!
As a school and staff, we were shocked at the devastating events at
the Grenfell Tower. Little did we know at the time, but one of our
part-time teaching staff, Mr. J. Dean, was at the scene in his role as a
Firefighter.
His team decided they wanted to help raise money for the people and
families effected and so completed the 3 Peaks Challenge (19 hours
6 minutes).
To contribute to this, the staff at John Fisher undertook a charity bake
off with the theme - “What makes Britain Great”. As you can see
from the pictures, standards were very high and 25 members of staff
contributed an entry. Having been judged in secret, the staff then
shared the various delights during the break of our staff development
day raising £240 towards Mr. Dean’s fundraising.
