JFS Alumni updates Old Boy Kieran Treadwell makes debut for Ireland We were delighted to hear that after coming on as a Substitute the previous week, Kieran Treadwell was to make his full test debut for Ireland against Japan. What a great example for the current students here at John Fisher. Old Boy paints a different picture Ricardo Insua-Cao’s, S.Lm, B.A (Hons), work is surprisingly diverse, from tight natural history illustration and miniature watercolours on ivorine (an unusual type of plastic made from formaldehyde and casein protein extracted from skimmed milk) to very large abstracts in oils, from corporate graphic design to free design for musicians. During his A-Level years, Ricardo was taught miniature painting initially by Elizabeth Davis Wood M.B.E. and then Michael Bartlett, then Vice President of the Royal Miniature Society. After his A-levels, Ricardo went to Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design, receiving a Diploma in Art and Design.
