Boys & Girls Club announces new Board Chairman
The Boys & Girls Club of North
San Luis Obispo County has appointed
Todd Evenson as new board Chairman,
succeeding Jeb Brown.
As the co-founder and Vice President
of Connect Home Loans in Paso
Robles, Todd has been a prominent
figure in the lending industry for the
last 11 years. He has earned the respect
of his clients and colleagues, as well as
the respect and admiration of his fellow
Boys & Girls Club board members.
Todd’s passion and advocacy for the
Boys & Girls Club came from his participation
in the organization as a child.
Todd was elected to the board of directors
of the Boys & Girls Club in North
SLO County in December of 2011.

the development
and leadership of this
organization, paved by
Jeb Brown.”
Todd also was a
former president of a chapter
of BNI, Business Network
International and is on the
board of directors of WaterRun, an
organization that provides funding
for wells in Ethiopia. Todd enjoys
being involved in the community
and living here on the Central Coast
for 13 years with
his wife and three
daughters.

assisted in the tremendous
expansion and improvement
of the Boys & Girls Club programs
and services. Jeb will continue to
serve on the board and continue pursuing
his mission to insure youth in

The Boys & Girls Club of North San
Luis Obispo is an after-school, educational
program available to youth, ages 5-17, at
an annual membership fee of only $20.
The Club serves children with high-quality
after school and summer programs in
a safe, fun and caring environment. Children
are engaged in academic, enrichment,
and social activities that broaden
their perspectives, develop their skills
and enhance their lives. The children are
inspired and enabled to realize their full
potential as productive, responsible and

Central Coast Funds for Children supports Children’s Museum
Central Coast
Funds for Children
generously awarded a
grant in the amount
of $2,500 to the Paso
Robles Children’s Museum to help
support the Museum’s Community
Partner Program. This program allows
the Museum to offer free access
to other youth based organizations
and the children and families they

serve. The Museum’s Community
Partners include CASA, the Boys
and Girls Club, the Kinship Center,
the Cancer Support Community, Big
Brothers Big Sisters, Jack’s Helping
Hand and the Toy Bank.

Museum gave away
600 FREE Family
Play passes at
the Day of Giving
sponsored by the Toy Bank. Support
from Central Coast Funds for
Children helped to offset the cost of
these FREE passes.
The Children’s Museum at the Paso
Robles Volunteer Firehouse, also known
as The Paso Robles Children’s Museum
is located at 623 13th St. in the heart
of downtown Paso Robles. The nonprofit
offers family-focused educational
activities for the general public, as well
as membership, birthday parties and
school and youth group programming.
