The City we call home, will officially become 125 years old on<br />
March 11, <strong>2014</strong>. It’ll be the grandest day we have to remind all<br />
35,000 neighbors of our remarkable and enduring history...and<br />
your Paso Robles <strong>Magazine</strong> will commemorate this special<br />
occasion with a switch to glossy paper for the March edition!<br />
We own businesses, we belong to service organizations and we<br />
earn our livings in the readership area of Paso Robles <strong>Magazine</strong>.<br />
For our 155th publication...the March issue---it would be<br />
absolutely fabulous if each of you changed your advertising<br />
a bit to say Happy Anniversary and Thanks for being a part<br />
of El Paso de Robles. Express it in a way that is special and<br />
dear to you. Instead of the traditional promotion of your<br />
products and services, we’d like to make this a true Paso<br />
Happy Anniversary Wishes issue. Most likely it will become<br />
somewhat of a collector’s issue as well.<br />
Some thoughts for what might fit the bill:<br />
Highlight your business or organization’s history in town.<br />
How far back do the roots of your establishment go? How<br />
many generations deep is your business? Why are you in<br />
business here? What has Paso meant to your way of life<br />
with your business? How has your business life transcended<br />
into personal and family relationships? How would you<br />
like to say “Happy Anniversary Paso!” How would you<br />
like to say “Thank You Paso” for the opportunities you<br />
found here?<br />
For our part, Paso Robles <strong>Magazine</strong> is planning its first-ever<br />
glossy cover in March and we’ll include an historical section<br />
within that issue and run historical info about our great<br />
community throughout <strong>2014</strong>! This is nothing short of being<br />
a labor of love. PRM is as much a part of our way of life as<br />
is each of your businesses. To make a great issue and allow<br />
each of you to express your love of Paso, we are getting<br />
started right away. Your ad reps and I will meet with you to<br />
explore all your thoughts. Even if you’ve never run an ad in<br />
the PRM, you might want to use this opportunity to be part<br />
of this Happy Anniversary card to our community...and be<br />
able to take advantage of our 100% mailed coverage as<br />
well...we get results for our advertisers!<br />
