Both the calculation schemes analyzed schematize limit situations, in between which the real
behaviour of the structure can be envisaged: the high stresses in the tie-beam, found in the first
scheme, will certainly been reduced by the presence of the co-operating centrings, with a related
increase of the thrusts on the perimeter masonry walls between admissible values, granting their
equilibrium.
