I have come to know that He loves to
celebrate all along the way with you. It
is a plus to count the victory from the
first hint of sickness or distress –
because I am thinking that healing
comes in so many ways: physically,
mentally, emotionally, relationally,
etc., etc. He is able to take care of
every kind of healing that you need. I
have also learned that there are many
levels – deep levels – where He needs
to bring His healing touch when He
thinks you are ready. He is so
merciful and understanding and full
of grace and love toward you. Not
once does He have an evil thought
toward you, because He loves you!
He promises long life and salvation. I
have thought many times and been
ever so grateful for His saving grace in
my times of trouble. I really do not
know how a non-Christian can ever
cope without the faithful God who has
been revealed to me. I do not want to
know, because it distresses me so.
The restoration that comes after
healing is like an old house where
electric, plumbing, walls, and
furnace have been replaced. It is a
beautiful new house to enjoy. The
good bones are still there, but the
improvements have been necessary
and costly. It has taken many
workmen to bring it up to code. The
contractor has had to be diligent
about coordinating all of the
changes.
He has had to look at the blueprint
and point out what needed torn out
and replaced. New replaces the old.
Then the decorations come in to
finish off the work and make the
home a comfortable place to live in.
Finally, the ribbon is cut, and
others are invited in to view the
handiwork.
Therefore, I offer my prayers and put
my focus back on loving Him and
serving Him with my best effort,
failing at times … but repenting and
getting back up with new
determination. It is my goal to reach
Heaven and spend an eternity in His
presence.
