If you’re worried your best friend is
talking behind your back whenever
you’re not around and you feel like
you can’t tell her anything, there’s
no trust in the friendship. When two
friends or partners can’t tell each
other anything without fearing that
they may be judged, there’s some
communication lacking between you
two.
Things like this, respect and support
are good indications of a healthy
relationship. If your “friendship” is
lack most or all of these, it may be a
toxic relationship. A relationship of
any kind isn’t supposed to feel like a
heavy burden upon your life, it’s
supposed to be loving, encouraging
and solid, no matter what you go
through. Relationships should never
be one-half always taking and never
giving. There needs to be a balance
for it to the healthy, both sides
should be respected and both sides
need to equally give to one another.
That’s a true and healthy
relationship of any kind.
Friendships:
Everyone deserves an honest and
loyal friend. Someone they can trust
all their secrets to, someone they
can always count on and cares for
them no matter what. We all want
and
deserve that friend, but we don’t
always get that sadly. We all want
someone who can be honest with and
will stick with us like glue to the end,
and sometimes we look for that in
the wrong people. Some of us are so
desperate for friends we’ll accept
anything in our lives just to feel
accepted, knowing the person will
never truly care for us. We will let
people talk down to us so we won’t
feel lonely. Let me ask you, what’s
more important, being tolerated so
you won’t be alone, or being
celebrated by a friend who loves
everything about you? Which do you
think is better? Because I guarantee
fake friends will leave you feeling
empty. Toxic friendships are onesided,
draining, unsupportive and
unequal. They well constantly drain
and take from you until they get
bored with you. One-sided
friendships aren’t helpful and caring
in any way.
They never care to ask about you, but
they’ll talk about themselves all day.
They’ll never support you, but get
mad if you don’t support them. You’ll
often find the relationship extremely
unequal. I’ve had toxic friendships
before, and let me tell you, it isn’t
fun. I’d feel so
