A F F O R D A B L E A D V E R T I S I N G F O R A L L 35 The Advanced Driver Course Most people with a driving license, on our roads today, have never had driver training after passing the driving test. The advanced driver course is designed to provide this to members of the public. It increases driving skills and knowledge. There is a one off payment (£149) which covers all aspects of the course including the test fee. This payment covers a year’s membership of IAM Roadsmart as well as the local voluntary group, Northampton Advanced Motorists, which provides the driver training. Sessions are done in your car with one of our observers. There is no limit on the number of sessions; it depends on progress to advanced standard. Before committing to the course we can provide a driving assessment to show you what the course is all about.
