Earn a Jewelry Arts Certificate at NCC<br />
Calling all aspiring jewelry<br />
artists. Northampton<br />
Community College is offering<br />
a Jewelry Arts Certificate<br />
where you can gain the skills<br />
to create your own line of<br />
jewelry, or simply add your<br />
own piece to your jewelry<br />
collection.<br />
For the certificate program<br />
complete six classes including these five required classes: Jewelry Arts<br />
1: Metalworking Basics <strong>and</strong> Soldering Techniques; Jewelry Arts II: Bezel<br />
Setting Cabochons, Ring Making <strong>and</strong> Chain Making. To complete your<br />
program choose one of the following electives: Hammered Bracelet,<br />
Surface, Enrichment <strong>and</strong> Finishing or Independent Projects.<br />
Classes offered this fall include:<br />
Metalworking Basics, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 4 to Nov. 1.<br />
Soldering Techniques, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 8 through Dec. 13.<br />
Ring Making, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 3 through Oct. 31.<br />
All the classes are held in the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511<br />
E. Third St, Bethlehem, <strong>and</strong> are teen friendly - open to students ages<br />

<strong>The</strong> monthly garden presentations at Easton Library will continue through<br />
