DAY 1 | Travel Day (D)
Discover the heritage of our country in our nation’s
Capital, Washington D.C., and in Williamsburg,
Jamestown and Yorktown, Virginia. Overnight Joliet, IL
DAY 2 | Fair Oaks Dairy (B, L, LD)
Traveling through Indiana you see Midwest fertile
farm land. A visit to this part of the country wouldn’t be
complete without stopping at Fair Oaks Dairy. Situated
on 25,000 acres, this is one of the largest dairies in the
U.S. Overnight Dublin, OH
DAY 3 | Flight 93 National Memorial (B, D)
Your journey takes you through the rolling hills of central
Ohio and West Virginia. The Allegheny Mountain
Foothills of Pennsylvania present the location of the
Flight 93 National Memorial. Overnight Gettysburg,

DAY 4 | Gettysburg Battlefield/Washington, D.C.
Illumination Tour (B, D)
A guided tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield, one of the
most important battles fought, will describe in detail
the events of that battle that took place 150 years
ago. The Museum and Visitor Center at Gettysburg
National Military Park brings it all to life. Depart for
your hotel near Washington, D.C. for a three night
stay. Visit the National World War II Memorial today.
Tonight’s treat is the Illumination Tour, where, all lit up,
the monuments and memorials take on a special aura

DAY 5 | New White House Visitor Center/U.S.
Capitol Tour/Library of Congress/Supreme Court/
DC Memorials (B, D)
This morning we visit the new White House Visitor
Center. Off to the Capitol Visitor Center on Capitol
Hill for a tour of the United States Capitol (Photo
ID is required). Across the street are the Library of
Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court. We will allow
time to discover both buildings (pending scheduled
events inside). Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial,
The Lincoln Memorial and The Korean War Veterans
Memorial.
DAY 6 | Arlington National Cemetery/Tomb of
Unknown Soldier/Iwo Jima/Smithsonian Museum
of Choice or Museum of the Bible Option/Holocaust
Museum Options (B, D)
Today’s visits include Arlington National Cemetery and
the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Photo opportunities
at The White House and the Iwo Jima Statue are a
must. This afternoon your tour director will help you
with your choice of Smithsonian Museums located on
the National Mall or two other options: #1: the new
Museum of the Bible; #2: the Holocaust Museum.
Options are at an additional cost. Please make your
choice when booking your tour.
DAY 7 | Mount Vernon (B)
Mount Vernon was the home of our first President,
George Washington. Take a tour of his mansion, its
outbuildings and 50 spacious acres of gardens as
well as the tombs of George and Martha Washington.

DAY 8 | Colonial Williamsburg (B, L)
Spend the day exploring Colonial Williamsburg.
Listen for the murmurings of the revolution! Explore the
Governor’s Palace and hundreds of re-created and
restored building sites and exhibits. Enjoy lunch at a
local tavern. We return to our hotel after a full day of
visiting 18th Century America.
DAY 9 | Jamestown/Yorktown (B)
History comes alive in Jamestown Settlement and
Yorktown Victory Center. Overnight Charlottesville, VA
DAY 10 | Monticello/Michie Tavern (B, L)
Charlottesville is home to Monticello, the imposing
estate of Thomas Jefferson. Enjoy lunch at the famous
Michie Tavern. Overnight Cross Lanes, WV
DAY 11 | Travel Day (B, LD)
The drive westward showcases the beautiful blue grass
of Kentucky and the Hoosier National Forest of Indiana.
Southern Illinois brings us closer to our destination of St.
Louis, Missouri, for the night. Overnight St. Peters, MO
DAY 12 | Travel Home (B)
Homeward bound today! Awesome memories remain
with us after experiencing the profound heritage of our
nation.
