Kazegama Kiln: Believed unique in Australia, this fully towable,
trailer·mounted kiln is based on a design developed in
USA (see www.kazegamas.com). The kiln was demonstrated
at the Sturt Woodfir. 08. Built with four large end gas burn·
ers (fires easily to 1300"C) at one end and a chimney at the
other, ports allow wood ash (or oxides) to be blown In and
distributed over the pots by the blast from the burners. The
kiln with insulation by Steve Harrison at Hot and Sticky. fires
easily to stoneware temperatures; Four 450 x 450 shelves
