Grey Power Rotorua’s
$100 cash prize winners
Wendy and Ross Allen from Hillcrest are the
winners of our latest quarterly $100 prize draw.
Wendy works as a photographer
(the selfie
is her own work) for
SCION where she documents –
for SCION's database – the scientific
work that is being developed
at the institute. She is also
an active member of the Rotorua
Camera Club. Wendy loves her
teddy bear collection.
Ross is a customer representative
for a major nationwide
retail chain. He came to
NZ from the UK some decades
ago. His hobby is collecting
Royal memorabilia with about
250 items. It was inspired by his
grandmother.
The couple have a lovely
house that they have now lived
in for more than 20 years... and
it is quite impressive to see how
much love and care they put into
creating their little 'nest'. Lots of
plants and pots and a little leanto
conservatory for cacti and
succulents. They created it in a
Greek/Roman style.
Apart from being members
of Rotorua Grey Power, Ross
and Wendy are also members of
Rotorua East Lions Club.
